Am I Cheating?
The Internet is a valuable source of information but don't forget you are not the only one who has access to this.
A recent news article link to online cheats tell same story highlighted that "borrowing" text can land you in hot water.
University study requires research and again the internet is a vital tool but some universities are employing sophisticated software to detect whether submitted work has been copied from the Internet.
An earlier article, link to www.fmwf.com/studentarticle.php?id=1113&cat=7 reported on the new methods to track down plagiarism and reinforced the need for students to carefully reference information in their coursework when it has been obtained from another source.
Editorial Team's comment - while imitation is the sincerest form of flattery it's easy to spot when you've copied. If in doubt about how to reference or what to include, ask your course tutor.
